Additional Costs (COGS)
Costs shared across the batch. Add costs that apply to only one product directly to that product's unit cost.
Pricing Settings
Product cost allocates more expenses to higher-cost products. Number of units assigns the same amount to each unit. Set a different margin for individual products in the table, or leave it blank to use the target margin.

Pricing Guidelines
- Start with costs. Include product cost, packaging, event or booth fees, and time spent making handmade items.
- Minimum margin: 35%. Set prices at least at cost × 1.55 for a margin ≥ 35%.
- Healthy margin: 45%+. For preloved and curated items, aim for cost × 1.8–2.0 (around 45–50% margin) to account for sourcing time.
- Higher margins for handmade items. A margin of 50–60% can reflect the time and craftsmanship involved.
- Event and online pricing. Use booth prices for walk-in purchases. Adjust online prices to cover delivery costs.
- Keep each product profitable. For clearance stock, reduce the margin while keeping the price above cost.
Monthly Profit Projection
Gross profit = sales × margin %. Net profit = gross profit − fixed costs.
